A thermal bonding conjugate fiber for a nonwoven binder in accordance with the present invention comprises a polyester-based resin as a first component and a polyolefin-based resin, having a melting point lower than that of the polyester-based resin by 20°C or more, as a second component and has a release rate of 1.5 or higher. The release rate (%) is calculated as an inequality, (Cross sectional outer circumference + Hollow sectional outer circumference) 2 / (4 π X Cross sectional area). The thermal bonding conjugate fiber for a nonwoven binder of another embodiment in accordance with the present invention comprises a polypropylene resin as a first component and the polyolefin-based resin as a second component and has a release rate of 1.5 or higher. It is desirable that the thermal bonding conjugate fiber for a nonwoven binder of the present invention consists of 30-70 wt% of the first component and 70-30 wt% of the second component. The thermal bonding conjugate fiber for a nonwoven binder of the present invention takes the form of concentric core-sheath, eccentric core-sheath, or side-by-side. The shape of the cross section and the hollow of the fiber of the present invention can be circular cross section, circular hollow, modified cross section, or modified hollow.
