PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine system, for example, such as a cogeneration device 1, for increasing dust resistance thereof while securing the property of cooling electric components such as invertors 54.SOLUTION: A package 2 is vertically partitioned. A lower chamber 4 is provided with an engine 40, while an upper chamber 3 is further partitioned into a first upper chamber (for example, a radiator chamber 6) and a second upper chamber (for example, an equipment storage chamber 5) with a partition wall 35. The partition wall 35 is provided with a communication port 35a, while an outer wall panel (for example, an upper panel 27 on the back side) of the second upper chamber 5 facing the communication port 35a is provided with a ventilation hole (for example, a gallery 27a). A duct-like heat sink 55 is provided for distributing outside air taken from the ventilation hole to the communication port 35a.
