摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood vessel shape measurement apparatus which performs correct measurement in a relatively short time.SOLUTION: A biological blood vessel state measurement apparatus includes an electrocardiograph 20 which measures the electrocardiogram of a person to be measured 8. A positive pressure electromagnetic valve 48, a negative pressure electromagnetic valve 58 and the like change the internal pressure of a pressure vessel 18 storing a part of the person to be measured 8 in synchronization with the electrocardiogram measured by the electrocardiograph 20. An ultrasonic probe 22 measures the cross-sectional shape value of an artery in the case where the internal pressure of the pressure vessel 18 is an atmospheric pressure. Consequently, movement of the position of the artery to be a measurement object in the body can be suitably suppressed, and the time until the occurrence of active change in the blood vessel diameter can be shortened by for example expanding the artery with the load of negative pressure at the time of expansion of the artery in accordance with the heart rate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
