PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell panel abnormality detection system capable of simply identifying a solar cell string at which abnormality such as grounding has occurred.SOLUTION: A solar cell panel abnormality detection system 100 comprises: a plurality of rows of solar cell strings 2 (2a to 2d) including a plurality of solar cell modules connected in series; a power conditioner 4 for converting DC power output from the plurality of rows of solar cell strings 2 (2a to 2d) to AC power; and a plurality of switches 5 (5a to 5d) for electrically connecting or disconnecting the plurality of solar cell strings 2 (2a to 2d) and the power conditioner 4. Each of the plurality of switches 5 (5a to 5d) is connected to a corresponding string of the solar cell strings 2 (2a to 2d) and comprises an abnormality detection unit for detecting abnormality such as grounding.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
