PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the execution of color adjustment at appropriate timing and efficiently reduce the waste of resources and time.SOLUTION: A print control unit that controls a printer comprises: a storage information processing section that stores as a database a colorimetric value of each color obtained by the printer's measuring colors of a colorimetric chart; a color decision section that decides, with reference to the database, a specific color as an index for determining the necessity of color adjustment; and a color adjustment control section that acquires a colorimetric value by making the printer measure the specific color during processing of a print job, determines the necessity of color adjustment on the basis of aging effect of the colorimetric value, and executing color adjustment of the printer when the color adjustment is determined to be necessary.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
