PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power demand control device capable of efficiently responding to a power saving request given to a consumer.SOLUTION: An electric power demand control device comprises: a prediction section; a determination section; an output section; and a change section. The prediction section calculates a prediction value of electric power demand by a consumer on the basis of an electric power amount measured by an electric power meter for measuring the electric power amount individually used by a plurality of loads with which the electric power consumer is provided. The determination section determines whether or not the prediction value exceeds an upper limit target value of electric power consumption on the basis of a contract between an electric power supplier and the consumer. The output section outputs an alarm when the prediction value is determined to exceed the upper limit target value by the determination section. The change section changes the upper limit target value to a value different from the value on the basis of the contract in response to a request associated with limitation of the electric power consumption. |
