PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an electrolytic solution which enables the suppression of self discharge; a composition for gel electrolyte formation; a gel electrolyte; and a power storage device.SOLUTION: A power storage device comprises an electrolytic solution containing an onium salt (A) and a lithium salt (B); a ratio determined by a content MA (mol/L) of the A component and a content MB (mol/L) of the B component is within a predetermined range. A composition for gel electrolyte formation comprises: the electrolytic solution; and a polymer (C). A gel electrolyte comprises: an onium salt (A); a lithium salt (B); and a crosslinked polymer (D). In the gel electrolyte, a ratio determined by the content MA (mol/L) of the A component and the content MB (mol/L) of the B component is within a predetermined range.SELECTED DRAWING: None
