PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map drawing system and a map drawing method which enable a user to easily understand information on an item out of a display region of a map.SOLUTION: A map drawing system comprises: a map data acquisition section 5 which acquires map data; and a drawing section 6 which draws a map in a display region on a display section on the basis of the map data. The drawing section 6 superimposes a list of information, associated with a portion out of the display region on an extension of a line selected from lines extended out of the display region, on the display region of the map.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
