PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a speed reduction device which can be mounted on a variety of mating members at lower cost.SOLUTION: A speed reduction device 10 which includes a reduction gear 11, a motor 12 and a motor adapter 14 arranged between the reduction gear 11 and the motor 12 also includes a member for base mounting (member for mating member mounting) 60 for mounting a base (mating member) 16. The reduction gear 11 has a reduction gear flange part 50 on the outer periphery of a casing 28 of the reduction gear 11. On one side in an axial direction of the reduction gear flange part 50, the motor adapter 14 is fixed, and on the other side in the axial direction of the reduction gear flange part 50, the member 60 for base mounting is fixed. The member 60 for base mounting has a mounting part 60C for mounting the base 16 on further radially outside than the reduction gear flange part 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
