PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle door mechanism that is able to securely detect the locked states of a slide door and a swing door without requiring fine positional adjustment of components.SOLUTION: A vehicle door structure comprises: a door lock mechanism 21 configured such that when a slide door 6 is fully opened, a latch 26 rotates up to a predetermined position and a striker 23 is sandwiched in cooperation with a base 24, thereby locking the slide door 6 and a swing door 7; a lock detecting mechanism 30 configured to detect the locked states of the slide door 6 and the swing door 7 by detecting that the latch 26 has rotated up to the predetermined position; and a handle idling mechanism 31 configured to invalidate an operation of a swing-door handle when the swing door 7 is fully closed. The handle idling mechanism 31 validates the operation of the swing-door handle when the locked states of the slide door 6 and the swing door 7 are detected by the lock detecting mechanism 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
