1. A method comprising:
receiving a message at a message processing server; identifying the received message as including text information; retrieving a user profile associated with an intended recipient of the received message that specifies certain automated responses to be generated depending on a context of the message contents; identifying a message sender as belonging to a particular response category included in the user profile of the intended recipient; identifying the intended recipient of the message as an automated response subscriber based on the particular response category; assigning a context to the message; pairing an automated response with the message that is associated with the context of the message; and generating the automated response message on behalf of the automated response subscriber.
