PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to stop electric stimulation without failure if abnormality occurs in the pulse width of a pulse signal to perform nerve stimulation in a nerve stimulation device.SOLUTION: A nerve stimulation device 1 comprises: a control unit 49 which generates a waveform control signal for generating a pulse signal to perform nerve stimulation; a pulse generation circuit unit 44 for generating the pulse signal on the basis of the waveform control signal; a pulse width monitoring unit 46 which monitors the pulse width of the pulse signal generated by the pulse generation circuit unit 44, and which when the pulse width exceeds a predetermined threshold value, generates a shutdown signal 103 for shutting down the circuit of the pulse generation circuit unit 44; and a circuit shutdown unit 45 which shuts down the circuit of the pulse generation circuit unit 44 on the basis of the shutdown signal 103 generated by the pulse width monitoring unit 46.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
