PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjustment method for a mixer of a steel material, by which a mixer for mixing a steel material such as iron ore or coal can be easily adjusted so as to perform efficient mixing, without any trial-and-error on an actual machine, at the time of mixing the steel material continuously by using the mixer.SOLUTION: At the time of continuously mixing a steel material by using a mixer 10 including a fixed cylindrical horizontal container 11 and blades 15 for rotating on a rotation shaft 12 arrayed on a rotation axis of the cylindrical horizontal container 11, the shape (e.g., a basic shape or an attachment shape) and the size of the blade 15 are changed and adjusted so that an average residence time t (s) or a space factor S (%) of the steel material may take a desired value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
