PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a wide-angle composite image in which occurrence of whiteout and crushed black is suppressed, while reducing the memory capacity required for temporary image storage during image composition.SOLUTION: For a plurality of images captured continuously by changing the shooting range, a duplicate region where the subject duplicates between adjacent images is detected sequentially, a composite region where the duplicate regions thus detected are duplicated so as not to exceed a predetermined number of times is created, and then the synthesis ratio in the composite region each of a plurality of images is calculated based on the exposure value and signal value each of a plurality of images at the time of shooting. A wide-angle composite image is created by performing image composition in the composite region created using the synthesis ratio thus calculated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
