摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge device which can accurately detect a change of electromotive force of a piezoelectric element in accordance with residual vibration.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device includes a piezoelectric element, a pressure chamber, a nozzle which discharges a liquid charged in an inside of the pressure chamber, a discharge state determination part which determines a discharge state of the liquid from the nozzle based on a residual vibration signal indicating a change of electromotive force of the piezoelectric element in response to residual vibration generated in the pressure chamber, a drive signal generation part which generates a drive signal, and an integrated circuit which transmits the drive signal to the piezoelectric element. An upper wiring layer of the integrated circuit includes first internal wiring, to which the drive signal is supplied, and second internal wiring, to which the electromotive force of the piezoelectric element is supplied. A lower wiring layer includes a residual vibration detection part which generates the residual vibration signal, a first switch which switches on and off of the piezoelectric element and the first internal wiring, and a second switch which switches on and off of the piezoelectric element and the second internal wiring. A shield part is arranged on a third wiring layer between the first wiring layer and the second wiring layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 19
