PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a harvesting method by which a Persea americana is efficiently harvested and a person who is not an expert of collection work can immediately determine whether degree of maturity of the Persea americana is suitable for collection so that efficiency of the collection work can be improved and taste of the collected Persea americana can be excellently kept.SOLUTION: In a harvesting method for a Persea americana tree that blooms four times a year, a same identification maker is installed at each stem part connecting a bloomed flower of the Persea americana with a twig when the flower blooms at each timing. The identification maker consists of four sorts capable of being distinguished from the other identification makers installed at the past three times at least. The Persea americanas born at the stem part with the unique identification markers indicating a lapse of 8-10 months from flowering are harvested all at once, among all of the four sorts of identification markers.
