PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalyst filter unit that allows a photocatalyst filter to be fitted into a casing using without requiring an additional part while maintaining a desired pleat shape and facilitates the work of replacing the filter.SOLUTION: A photocatalyst filter unit comprises a frameless pleated photocatalyst filter 3 and a casing 2. The photocatalyst filter 3 includes pleats 3c arranged at predetermined pitches along a pleat forming direction and has groove parts 3b each formed between the pleats 3c. The casing 2 has a body part (a lower member 20 and an intermediate member 30) to which the filter 3 is locked at the time of fitting of the filter 3 and a fixing member (a cover member 40) that fixes the filter 3 having been fixed to the body part. The body part or the fixing member is formed with a group of projections (claws 22c) that prevent the pleats 3c from being shifted from desired positions with exceeding a predetermined limit. Each protrusion (claw 22c) is engaged with a corresponding groove part for each of a plurality of pleat pitches on one of the sides of the filter 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
