PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more accurately identify a cause of a failure generated in an image formation device.SOLUTION: A server 100 retains a type of a failure generated in an image formation device 101a, a cause generating the failure, and an internal state of the image formation device 101a in the case that the failure has been generated, in association with each other. The server 100 executes a search on the basis of a failure report showing a type of a failure generated in an image formation device 101b and an internal state of the image formation device 101b in the case that the failure has been generated. The server 100 creates a cause notification showing an extracted generation cause to transmit the notification to the image formation device 101b. When having detected generation of a failure, the image formation device 101b acquires an internal state at the time of detecting the failure and creates a failure report showing at least part of the internal state and a type of the failure to transmit the report to the server 100 and receives a cause notification transmitted from the server 100 as a response to the failure report to output the notification.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
