PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide particulate matter heat treatment equipment and a treatment method capable of attaining a small-sized device by increasing a heating efficiency of a rotary kiln for heat treating particulate matter.SOLUTION: A heat resistance caster 18 is set around a circumference of an inner wall at a front half side of a kiln main body that corresponds to a burner 8 installing side and in turn the inner wall of the rear half side is provided with a plurality of scraping-up blades 19a, 19b around its circumference, a substantial central part of the kiln main body 4 is provided with a feeding-in part 20, the particulate caught by the bag filter 14 at a downstream side of the kiln main body 4 is re-fed from the intermediate feeding-in part 20 toward the front half part of the kiln main body 4. At the rear half part of the kiln main body 4, the particulate is repeatedly scraped up and dropped through a plurality of scraping-up blades 19a, 19b to enable their contact opportunity with a gas flow to enable a heating efficiency to be effectively increased and thereby it becomes possible to make a small-sized device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
