PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the lateral length of a negative ion electrode in a negative ion generator by giving consideration to the arrangement position of a control substrate housing part and thereby improve dust-collection efficiency.SOLUTION: An indoor unit of an air conditioner is structured so that a negative ion generator is disposed while facing to the front surface of a heat exchanger, and a control substrate housing part is located at the front surface part of an indoor unit body covered with a decorated panel and is disposed while leaving an air-flowing space between the rear surface of the control substrate housing part and the front surface of the negative ion generator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
