摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel bearing device which is improved in reliability by the early sensing of the occurrence of an abnormality in a bearing part, and a rise of a temperature by a driver.SOLUTION: A wheel bearing device comprises: a cylinder part 20a in which a deflector 20 which is composed of a shape memory alloy of a Ti-Ni system alloy is pressure-inserted into an external peripheral face of an inner ring 3, and the deflector 20 is formed into an L-shape at a cross section, and which is pressure-inserted tin the external peripheral face of the inner ring 3; and an erecting plate part 20b which extends to the outside in a radial direction from the cylinder part 20a. Since a tip of the erecting plate part 20b is arranged while opposing an internal peripheral face 10c of an outer member 10 with a micro clearance, and the deflector 20 is set to be deformed to a direction of the outer member 10 when the deflector exceeds a shape restoration temperature, exfoliation and wear are thereby promoted at each rolling face, a temperature in a bearing rises, and when the deflector 20 exceeds the shape restoration temperature, the electing plate part 20b of the deflector 20 is deformed, and contacts with the internal periphery 10c of the outer member 10, noise and vibration are generated, and thus a driver can be notified of an abnormality.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
