PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilt hinge for a notebook personal computer using in particular a touch panel and a notebook personal computer using the tilt hinge capable of generating a stronger friction torque within an opening or closing angle range for performing a prescribed touch operation.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a tilt hinge D comprising a fitting member 1 to be fixed to the first casing; a supporting member 3 to be fixed to the second casing; a hinge shaft 2 rotatably connecting the supporting member 3 to a bearing plate part 1b of the fitting member 1; and rotation control means 4 for the supporting member 3 arranged between the fitting member 1 and the supporting member 3 through the hinge shaft 2. The rotation control means 4 is constituted by first rotation control means 4A for controlling a rotation torque within a range of prescribed relative opening or closing angle between the supporting member 3 and the fitting member 1 and second rotation control means 4B for controlling the rotation torque at an opening or closing angle other than the prescribed opening or closing angle range of the supporting member 3 and the fitting member 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
