Disclosed is a positive electrode catalyst for an air battery. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the positive electrode catalyst for an air battery may include a Perovskite structure compound represented by chemical formula 1. In the chemical formula 1, X represents one or more elements from lanthanoid elements; Y represents one or more elements from alkali earth metal elements; Z represents one or more elements from iron family elements; and O represents oxygen. According to the present invention, the positive electrode catalyst for an air battery which can perform both oxygen reduction and oxygen generation can be provided. Also, the surface area of a cathode where the oxygen reduction and oxygen generation can be performed is increased, and thereby the oxygen reduction and oxygen generation can be performed more efficiently.
