PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire with an overcurrent cutoff function that can interrupt a circuit safely even when an overcurrent is applied, while exhibiting excellent wire manufacturability at a low cost.SOLUTION: A wire 10 with an overcurrent cutoff function uses a conductor 12 composed of a Sn alloy wire containing 3.0-15.0 mass% of Cu and the reminder of Sn and inevitable impurities. Such a conductor 12 is covered with an insulation coating 14, and the conductor 12 is blown by an overcurrent.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
