[Class 89 (i)] A nut or socket member adapted to be attached to a supporting part such as a metal plate has two internally-threaded yieldable parts 7 adapted to extend through an aperture in the plate and connected at the end 8 inserted through the aperture, means being provided whereby the parts 7 engage the plate for assembling the nut member therewith. Flanges 9 on the free ends of the parts 7, together with side projections 11 form notches 12 which snap over the edge of the plate when the nut is pushed into the aperture therein.
