PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a flexible display device that prevents damage to a substrate formed of an organic resin.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of a flexible display device including the steps of: forming a first organic resin layer on a support substrate; forming a barrier layer on the first organic resin layer; forming a second organic resin layer on the barrier layer; forming a display element layer on the second organic resin layer; forming a cover layer on the display element layer; selectively removing the first organic resin layer; and separating the barrier layer, second organic resin layer, and display element layer from the support substrate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
