PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory unit making it clear that an initialization processing in the memory unit has been reliably performed.SOLUTION: The memory unit includes a storage area capable of storing game related information relating to a game using game media, input and output terminals for receiving input and output signals for performing inputs and outputs of the game related information, and an initialization terminal for receiving an initialization signal for initializing the storage area. An input and an output states as to whether or not the game related information is in a state being inputted or outputted to/from the storage area via the input and the output terminals are managed, and if the initialization signal is received by the initialization terminal, when it is determined the game related information is in a state not inputted or outputted to/from the storage area, the storage area being polarized to one of two stable states is initialized to an initial state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 86 |
