PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a new technology which guarantees accuracy of a travel position detected on-board.SOLUTION: An on-board device 20 loaded on a train 10 detects a section boundary on the basis of travel control information received from a rail R, that is, judges that there is a stationary reception state of travel control information including the same section ID. When a section ID judged to be in a stationary reception state is different from a section ID judged to be in a stationary reception state just immediately, the device detects that a section boundary has been passed through. Therefore, the detection accuracy of passage through a section boundary can be improved, so that a travel position can be corrected from the position of a detected section boundary.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
