发明名称 METHOD OF MICRO-OIL DROPLET SEPARATION
摘要 The present invention is to provide a method for separating micro-oil droplets in an easy manner by using an ion-selective membrane. The method for separating micro-oil droplets includes the following steps: supplying an emulsified solution to an inlet to enable the emulsified solution to pass from the inlet of a micro-channel device having the ion-selective membrane to a first outlet or a second outlet; forming an ion depletion zone as ion concentration polarization (ICP) is generated in a portion close to a branching point between the first outlet and the second outlet by applying an electric field to the micro-channel device; and allowing the emulsified solution to be separated into fresh water and oil droplets with respect to the ion depletion zone, allowing the fresh water to be discharged through the first outlet, and also allowing the oil droplets to be pushed away by electric repulsive force in a boundary surface of the ion depletion zone and to be discharged through the second outlet.
