To provide a multi-frequency RF amplifier which can be operated by low power, the present invention relates to the mass spectrometry method of a mass spectrometer. The mass spectrometer includes an electron generator which generates electrons used as an ion source, the multi-frequency RF amplifier which modulates the amplitude and frequency of a reference waveform signal at the same time and generates a multi-frequency RF voltage signal, an ion trap which separates ion molecules generated by the collision of electrons with an injected sample from the outside according to mass by using the multi-frequency RF voltage signal, a detector which detects separated ions, and a data analyzer which analyzes the mass of the detected ions.
