PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect fine irregular surface defects with high accuracy using simple configuration without need for many costs.SOLUTION: A detection device for a fine irregular surface defect according to the present invention is the detection device for the fine irregular surface defect that detects the fine irregular surface defect on a steel sheet. The detection device for a fine irregular surface defect comprises: a DC power source 11 that applies a magnetic field to the steel plate; a tunnel magnetic resistance element 1 that detects a magnetic signal arising from distortion of the steel sheet due to the fine irregular surface defect; and a DC voltage measurement unit 13 that detects the fine irregular surface defect on the basis of the magnetic signal detected by the tunnel magnetic resistance element 1. As a result, the fine irregular surface defect can be detected with high accuracy using simple configuration without need for many costs.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
