PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid leakage detection device capable of detecting the leakage of a conductive liquid such as water or blood with high sensitivity.SOLUTION: A liquid leakage detection device 1 according to the present invention is designed to detect the leakage of a conductive liquid, the device comprising an electric circuit 10 having a notification unit 2 actuated by electric power, a power supply unit 3 for supplying electric power to the notification unit 2, and a liquid detection sensor unit 4. The electric circuit 10 is normally an open circuit, and becomes a closed circuit when a conductive liquid touches the liquid detection sensor unit 4, whereby electric power supply from the power supply unit 3 to the notification unit 2 is begun, making the notification unit 2 actuated. The liquid detection sensor unit 4 is configured by including a water-permeable laminate sheet 43 having two sheets of conductive paper 41, 41 and an insulation layer 42 interposed therebetween.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
