PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closing plate or a closing element including vulcanized and set seal member for a vacuum valve, in particular a vacuum transfer valve.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a closing element for a vacuum valve that is constituted to close air-tightly a process volume under cooperation with a vacuum valve opening 2 arranged for the process volume and in which a seal material 25 arranged at a first seal surface 22 is provided with a first seal part 26 and a second seal part. The closing element 20" has press parts 24' and 24" provided with press edges 28, 28' adjacent to the first seal part 26, the press edges 28, 28' are molded and formed in regard to the first seal part 26 in such a way that the surface shape of the seal material 25' given by the shape of the first seal part 26 and extending toward the press edges 28, 28' may become substantial uniform shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
