PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overturning prevention device that can be attached in any place where an article such as furniture is installed and prevents the article from overturning by shaking of an earthquake, etc.SOLUTION: An overturning prevention device 20 includes a plurality of dampers 30A attached between a top face 10A of furniture 10 installed on a floor surface F and a ceiling C. The dampers 30A are compression dampers whose damping force generated in an extension operation is smaller than the damping force generated in a compression operation. In a state that the dampers 30A are attached between the top face 10A of the furniture 10 and the ceiling C, axis lines extending from the ceiling C side to the top face 10A side of the furniture 10 incline downward, and extend in a plurality of directions in a plane view seen from above.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
