PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strainer for papermaking and a foreign matter separation device for papermaking by which the disaggregation of paper stock is promoted, as well as a method of manufacturing the strainer for papermaking.SOLUTION: In a strainer 4 for papermaking which is disposed close to a rotating rotor 3 and screens disaggregated paper stock, a plurality of strainer holes 42 are formed in the surface of a strainer 41 which faces the rotor 3. There are formed a plurality of peripheral walls 6 such that the peripheries of the strainer holes 42 are surrounded by protrusions, or there are formed a plurality of peripheral recessed groove portions 6' such that the peripheries of the strainer holes are surrounded by recessed grooves.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
