PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow work accuracy and efficiency to be improved when assembling a sprocket cover or when maintaining a sprocket and a transmission member wound around the sprocket.SOLUTION: The saddle-riding type vehicle is equipped with an engine case 11, a sprocket, an endless loop-like transmission member 26, a guide member 28 and a sprocket cover 31. The sprocket is fixed rotatably to one end part of an output shaft protruding in a vehicle width direction from the engine case 11. The endless loop-like transmission member 26 engages with a tooth part 18a of the sprocket and rotated in interlock with the sprocket so as to drive a wheel 3. The guide member 28 opposes to a site at which the transmission member 26 engages with the sprocket from outward in a radial direction and is fixed to a side wall part 11b of the engine case 11. The sprocket cover 31 is detachably attached to the guide member 28 and covers the sprocket from outward in the vehicle width direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
