1. In a quickly erectable dome shelter having opposing front and rear sides and opposing lateral sides, the quickly erectable dome shelter including an extendible perimeter truss assembly including a plurality of legs and a plurality of link members connected between adjacent legs, each of said legs having an upper end and a lower end, a roof framework pivotally mounted to the extendible perimeter truss assembly so as to extend across the shelter in an extended raised, upwardly arching configuration, said roof framework including a plurality of articulated peak truss assemblies, and said roof framework being movable between a lowered, collapsed configuration and the extended raised, upwardly arching position, a central truss assembly of link members including central truss pairs of first and second link members having upper and lower inner ends and upper and lower outer ends connected between the front and rear sides of the extendible perimeter truss assembly, and connected between opposing lateral sides of the extendable perimeter truss assembly to stabilize and support the quickly erectable dome shelter, the improvement in the quickly erectable dome shelter comprising:
at least one vertically oriented central telescoping peak pole member, said at least one vertically oriented central telescoping peak pole member having upper and lower ends, said at least one vertically oriented central telescoping peak pole member being pivotally and slidably coupled to the central truss assembly of link members and pivotally connected to corresponding ones of the plurality of articulated peak truss assemblies at the upper ends of at least one vertically oriented central telescoping peak pole member, the inner ends of the central truss pairs being connected to said at least one vertically oriented central telescoping peak pole member; a central peak pole slider member pivotally connected to said upper inner ends of said second link members of said central truss pairs of link members, and wherein said lower inner ends of each of the first link members of the central truss pairs of link members are pivotally connected to the lower end of said at least one vertically oriented central telescoping peak pole member; wherein said plurality of articulated peak truss assemblies includes a front side pair of first and second pairs of curved upper and lower peak truss members; and a vertically oriented side telescoping peak pole member pivotally connected to said front side pair of first and second pairs of curved upper and lower peak truss members. |
