The present invention discloses a liquid crystal display device. The liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal display panel; a panel guide which fixates the liquid crystal display panel; a backlight unit which supplies a surface light source to the liquid crystal display panel; a lower cover which accommodates the backlight unit; and an upper cover which fixates the liquid crystal display panel and is combined with the lower cover. The edge region of the liquid crystal display panel is not overlapped with the upper cover. The liquid crystal display device can prevent light leakage caused by warpage of the liquid crystal display panel by preventing the edge of the liquid crystal display panel from being overlapped with the upper cover. |
