The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a fabric having embossed works symmetrically formed on both sides thereof, the method including: (a) a step of enabling a flat knitting machine to supply a standard fabric (100) between a first needle (11) and a second needle (12) arranged side by side with the first needle, supplying first yarn (200) that is a base of one side of a completed fabric such that the first yarn (200) is sequentially caught by the first needle and first ring units (210) are repeatedly formed in a lateral direction, and supplying second yarn (300) that is a base of other side of the completed fabric such that the second yarn (300) is sequentially caught by the second needle and second ring units (310) are repeatedly formed in a lateral direction; and (b) a step of enabling the flat knitting machine to supply combined yarn (400) combining the first and second yarns and the standard fabric, thereby having the combined yarn (400) caught only in the first and second ring units included in an already set depressed section such that the first and second ring units are oppositely directed toward each other with respect to the one side and the other side of the completed fabric. The first and second yarns that are respectively bases of the one side and the other side of the completed fabric are symmetrically constrained by the combined yarn only in the depressed section such that a symmetrical emboss work is formed in a protruding section, that is a section other than the depressed section of the one side and the other side of the completed fabric. According to the present invention, provided are a method of manufacturing a fabric having embossed works symmetrically formed on both sides thereof, including one side and the other side in which symmetrical embossed works are formed; and a fabric knitted by the method. |
