The present invention provides a fuse element for the active safety element of a secondary battery. The fuse element includes has a fusible alloy piece which has a vertical cross section of a square shape with regard to a length direction and has a filling hole; and a flux which is filled in the filling hole of the fusible alloy piece. The fusible alloy piece is made of a Pt-Sn-Ag based alloy which includes 92-95 wt% of Pb; 3-6 wt% of Sn; and 1-3 wt% of Ag. Component mounting can be simplified and fusion bonding can be facilitated by partial alloying with solder paste, by using a square-type fusible alloy piece including Pt, Sn, and Ag with a specific composition. Also, a current changed in the abnormal state of the secondary battery can be detected. |
