An aggregate (1) for the compression and cooling of air is described, the aggregate (1) including : - a motor (2); - a compression element (3) with an inlet (31) for ambient air and an outlet (33) for compressed air, the compression element (3) being connected to the motor (2) and arranged to be driven by this; - a cooling fan (4) arranged to provide a cooling stream of ambient air; and - a first heat exchanger (5) for cooling compressed air from the outlet (33) of the compression element, characterized by - the cooling fan (4) being arranged to cool at least said first heat exchanger (5), said motor (2) and said compression element (3); and - said first heat exchanger (5) being placed upstream in the cooling stream relative to both said motor (2) and said compression element (3). A system (10) for producing gas from air is described as well, the system (10) including an aggregate (1) according to the invention. A method of using a system (10) according to the invention is described as well. |
