The present invention relates to a composition comprising a Morus alba L. extract as an active ingredient. More specifically, the Morus alba L. extract shows a protective effect against pathogenic microorganisms, a survival rate protective effect in a salmonella infection induced animal model, and an antimicrobial effect in the salmonella infection induced animal model, thereby being useful as ingredients of foods, medicines and feeds having an effect on pathogenic microorganism infectious diseases.
