LAUNCHING APPARATUS FOR LIFEBOATS

Provided is a launching apparatus for a lifeboat, which allows a lifeboat to safely and stably slide to the sea and to be launched with the minimum impact in an emergency. The launching apparatus for a lifeboat comprises: a slide member which is made of a flexible material, is folded in the bottom of a support structure where the lifeboat is mounted in normal times, and is expanded and unfolded to be inclined in order to allow the lifeboat to slide to the sea in an emergency; and one or more support members which are formed on the bottom surface of the slide member and are expanded to prevent the slide member from sagging due to the load of the lifeboat when the lifeboat slides. Therefore, the present invention safely launches the lifeboat to the sea and maximally secures the safety of passengers and crew boarding the lifeboat.
