According to an embodiment of the present invention, a wireless communication method may comprise the following steps of: scanning adjacent channels; transmitting a communications request signal to a gateway via the scanned channels; receiving a communications response signal including information regarding a plurality of data channels from the gateway; transmitting an activation request signal to the gateway via any one data channel among the data channels; receiving an activation response signal from the gateway; and registering the channel as the data channel. Therefore, the data communication time can be shortened.
