An embodiment relates to a light emitting device. The light emitting device according to the embodiment includes a body, a phosphor layer and first and second pads. The phosphor layer includes a polarity display part which displays the polarities of the first pad and the second pad. According to the light emitting device, the polarities of the pads arranged on the back surface of the body can be recognized by the upper surface of the body. Because the polarity display part exists on the phosphor layer instead of the body, the size of the body is reduced so that the entire light emitting device can be miniaturized. |
