The present invention relates to a multistage flood preventing wall and, more specifically, to a multistage flood preventing wall installed in a bank or a weir of a river or a stream and the like and preventing flooding of a river by functioning as a protective wall when a flow rate is increased due to a localized heavy rain and the like while being normally utilized as a passage for pedestrians or bicycles. The present invention as a technical means to solve the assignment includes: a receiving unit installed in a longitudinal direction of the bank to be parallel to the bank and having an internal receiving space; a protective wall unit having one end joined to one side of the upper part of the receiving unit and the other end formed into a free end and having multiple protective unit formed to be overlapped and mutually sliding in width direction; a first driving unit formed in the inner bottom of the receiving unit having one side fixated to fact the inner side of the bank and the other side formed to be perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the receiving unit to face the outer side of the bank; and a second driving unit having one end formed in the other end of the first driving unit to be able to rotate and the other end joined to an end protective unit among the multiple protective units to be able to rotate. One end of the second driving unit is able to move in a width direction of the receiving unit by being interlocked with the first driving unit.
