FIELD: personal use articles.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a container for storing products, and more precisely to a device forming a flexible seal between the container housing and the lid. The container for storing products comprises a housing (12), the sidewall of which has an upper edge, an edge extending laterally outwardly from the sidewall, a lid connected to the container housing and having a surface covering the opening in the container housing, and an edge projecting from the lid surface. The lid has an inner edge surface which generally faces the edge of the side wall of the container housing and bends the edge, whereby between the container housing and the lid a first seal is formed. At that the upper edge of the side wall of the container housing engages the surface of the lid, forming a second seal between the container housing and the lid, when the lid is in a closed position relative to the container. Also a method of sealing the container is described.EFFECT: container made according to the invention has a detachable sealing structure which enables to prevent leakage and contamination of the contents, while providing a force when sealing a broader range of manufacturing tolerances.12 cl, 12 dwg |
