FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention is a method for reducing frequency of relapses and symptoms of genital herpes, which consists in ingestion of acyclovir 3 times a day 400 mg for 10 days and then, starting from 11th - 15th day from start of treatment with acyclovir, three times, with 21 day intervals, means introducing an aqueous solution containing at least 90 wt% sodium monophosphate polyprenol of general formula H-[-CH2-C=CH-CH2-]a-XNa, wherein X - an anion of phosphoric acid, and not more than 10 wt% sodium pyrophosphate polyprenol of general formula H-[-CH2-C=CH-CH2-]a-YNa, wherein Y - anion pyrophosphoric acid, and - at least 7, intramuscularly at a dose of 8 mg per 2.0 ml.EFFECT: invention ensures reduction of frequency of recurrent genital herpes with simultaneous reduction of intensity of symptoms: itching, pain and burning.1 cl, 1 tbl, 2 dwg |
