The present invention relates to a mobile terminal capable of controlling playing, editing and searching functions of a video depending on a bending degree of a flexible device, and a video control method using the flexible display thereof. The video control method of the mobile device comprises: a step of playing a video on the flexible display; a step of detecting bending information of the flexible display; and a step of controlling an operation related to video playing depending on an operation mode for playing the video and the bending information of the detected flexible device.
