The present invention relates to a memory control method and a memory control device. According to the present invention, the memory control device performs the memory control method comprising the following steps of: checking a region where refresh is needed when searching for a target block of a garbage collection; sorting a pre-block and a garbage collection preforming block in the target blocks; and moving valid pages of the region, where refresh is needed, to the pre-block to refresh the pages. According to the present invention, data can be stored in a NAND flash memory based storage device for a long time.
